For pastors, seminarians, and lay leaders — wherever you serve.
A sponsored seat may be waiting for you.
Churches and families around the world sponsor seats at Bible English for pastors, seminarians, and lay leaders who need English for their calling — and cannot afford serious instruction. If that is you, you don't need money. You need to apply.
How it works
Apply. We talk. You join.
Ten minutes, below
Part of the application is written in English — that's on purpose. It helps us see your level, and mistakes are welcome.
A short, friendly call
Five minutes on video with Jonathan — to meet each other and make sure the group fits you.
Six weeks, everything included
One live hour per week, six people, weekly reading pack. Your sponsor pays; you bring your Bible and your voice.
One more thing: at the end of the six weeks, we send your sponsor a short report about you, with a few words from you, in English. Sponsored students are prayed for by name in real congregations. You will not be anonymous — you will be someone's answered prayer.
Who should apply
English for your calling.
- Pastors and church workers who preach, teach, or serve where English keeps showing up
- Seminarians and students of theology reading English textbooks and articles
- Lay leaders whose ministry — missions, translation, hospitality, worship — needs English
- Intermediate learners: if you can read this page, you are ready to apply
The application
Let a sponsor's gift find its student.
There is no cost to apply. If all seats are filled, your application joins the waiting list — and you'll be first in line when the next seat is given.
We practice language here, not doctrine — all Christian traditions are welcome.
